I stumbled into community work many years ago while volunteering for Rosies - Friends on the street for 5 years, an organisation that reaches out to those most in need, people who are homeless or at risk, lonely, and socially isolated within our community. I started my career within the Age Care Sector in the year 2000 and moved into the Domestic Violence and Homelessness Services within the organisation. I had a great passion for supporting rough sleepers and worked within the homeless and at risk sector for 25 years. I stepped over into the Mental Health Recovery Support in 2021 and absolutely love the work I do. I feel very privileged to walk alongside those I work with and be part of their story and journey of recovery.
