I am a single mother of 4 but tragically lost my 29 year old daughter in a bicycle/ truck accident just a little over 2 years ago and I struggle with that grief every single day. Being a good mother is the proudest accomplishment in my life! To be honest, April 29, 2025 will be my 1 year Anniversary since I've been employed by Step by Step, Inc. After just 6 months of working as a PRC, I was offered a new position as an Assistant Supervisor! I never expected moving up in the company when I initially started. It just goes to show that if you do your job well and offer to help coworkers or your Supervisor with anything else that needs done, keep yourself busy as much as possible and if you don't have anything to do, always speak up and ask if there is anything that you can help with. When you put yourself out there and help others when help is needed, it stands out to others, you could be considered for other positions that become available. I never had any idea that staff were considering me for such a great opportunity. I can tell you today that I love my current job. I am happier here working in the office than I have ever been at any other job in my life. There is no telling what can happen when you put your best foot forward and do your job to the best of your availability. Never in a million years would I think that I would be considered of being a Psych Rehab Assistant Supervisor at Step by Step, Inc. Here, I always am made to feel important and appreciated on a daily basis. I encourage anyone interested in taking the CPMC coarse to become one! Originally, I started this coarse about 6 months ago and was unable to keep up at that time so after a couple of weeks, I emailed Tracy, my instructor, who was more than willing to help me along so that I could continue to stay in the course, but unfortunately, it just wasn't my time. Although work is extremely busy and I have to plan time to work on my CPMC course, I signed up for this course once again and this time, I was determined and managed to accomplish it. I have learned so much not just about helping others but helping myself in the process. I highly recommend Personal Medicine to everyone! I also recommend taking this amazing course. It is eye opening and full of information to make becoming a CPMC Coach an enjoyable course and well worth taking!
