Courtney Strong-Gurr is a licensed professional counselor who is working on completing her Doctor of Behavioral Health. Courtney has over 15 years' experience in the behavioral health field and has worked in multiple capacities, including inpatient and outpatient, individual, couples, children/family, and groups. She has a certification in Infant and Child Mental Health, she is certified in Dialectical Behavioral therapy and trained in EMDR, eating disorders, trauma, shame, and cognitive behavioral therapy. Courtney has been the Clinical Coordinator for the Valleywise Mesa First Episode Center since January 2024. She is passionate about providing a holistic approach to care for the members of the clinic.
