I work for DES-Vocational Rehabilitation Administration in Benson, Arizona. We help individuals with different abilities to be part of their community through providing supports in achieving employment. We help people with mental, physical and or emotional needs, giving them access to services that can benefit them in obtaining long-term, sustainable careers. I first learned about Personal Medicine while attending a meeting through work. I did some research for myself to learn more about it. The more I learned about Personal Medicine the more interested I became. Being a deeply committed student of yoga and experiencing so many wonderful benefits of practicing meditation, breathing techniques, zero-resistance asana, chair yoga, nutrition and detox purification technologies, this has given me a deeper understanding of my life purpose; to serve others. Seeing that each one of us truly have the ability to "Heal Thyself" my desire is to be there for others, helping them to find their own personal inner wisdom to do exactly that... heal themselves. My journey turned to positive transformation because of the commitment of others that were dedicated in sharing their hope of healing. Without them, I do not want to imagine where I would be. I am grateful for every experience I went through, the devastation, the deep, dark personal hell that brought me to this life of joy and purpose I have today. As I continue to grow and learn, I invite you to join me in this adventure of self-discovery, transformation and simply finding new ways to bring more joy, happiness and fulfillment in our daily lives.
