I am the Executive Director of a Florida statewide peer-led organization and national technical assistance center. For over 30 years I have worked in mental health advocacy. Our organization focuses on curriculum development, training, and technical assistance in fulfillment of our mission to build communities that promote and support well-being through Leadership, Education, Advocacy, and Networking. In finding my wellness formula I did a lot of stumbling and experimenting. A coach would have been appreciated and welcomed. In my work with others, I want to be that coach I wish I had in those early days. As a seeker and sharer of wellness strategies, I have completed several programs that I have used myself and now share with others. Personal Medicine complements and completes them. What I take into my practice of personal medicine is confidence in the ability of those I coach to find the personal medicine that works for them. I now have the skills and resources to support them on their journey.
