Tylana Thomas-Anderson is a Senior Community Health Worker with the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health. She has an associate degree in human resources management and is a trained Health Navigator. Prior to coming to DMH, Mrs. Thomas-Anderson worked as a Service Extender to Older Adults with mental illness both at Special Services for Groups (SSG) and Enki. Since coming to DMH in 2015, she has utilized her extensive outreach and case management skills working with homeless people through the SB82 program and with the Outpatient Services Division. Ms. Thomas-Anderson has been a featured speaker at the Speakers Club Reunion, and the Peer Supervision Training and was interviewed on the DMH series "Meeting of the Minds" where she shared her story of depression and coping skills in her journey toward recovery.
