I have been hooked on mental health since I broke into the workforce way back in the year 2000. It has been a whirlwind, with many people coming and going since then. One thing remains the same; working to guide and support those that want help. My educational background did not necessarily have too much to do with mental health, but rather physical health and nutrition. I graduated with my BS in Exercise Science and became certified strength and conditioning specialist which I have maintained to this day. I have found that keeping a healthy body most of the time leads to keeping a healthy mind, not only in myself but also in those I have worked with. I became more curious and insistent on having better health from the moment I started wrestling back in high school (I was an overweight youth). Being active every day has been my personal medicine since long before I even knew the concept. These are some of the reasons that motivated me to become a CPMC. I hope as your CPMC to be able to help you find your own personal medicine to help you live your best life.
