Celebrating the Life of Eddie Taylor

We just received the sad news that Eddie Taylor, a peer specialist in Kansas City, KS, has passed. Eddie was a long-time friend of CommonGround. He helped pioneer peers supporting peers in the use of CommonGround. Eddie was a patient and compassionate man and a natural at helping peers use computers in the Decision Support Center. He helped to define what it means when peers help peers prepare to participate in shared decision making with the psychiatrist. Eddie also had a way of helping the doctors and nurses appreciate the importance of recovery and shared decision making.
